The Ride
This is a great ride, but beware it has a sting in the tail. This ride through Kangaroo Valley takes you over Berry Mountain via the Cambewarra Lookout. After Climbing out of town up Berry Mountain, enjoy the vistas along the Tourist road. You can skip the short sharp detour up to the lookout, but you’ll miss a chance for coffee and a great view. The Cambewarra Mountain descent into Kangaroo Valley is one of the nicer descents in the area. The road is busy however, so take care. After the fun of the decent, head into the Kangaroo Valley township and off towards the wall that is Barrengary (aka Col de Fitzroy). Now for another fun descent back into Kangaroo Valley. The return leg takes you up through Wattamolla which has a nice steep kick at the end just to finish off those tired legs!
