  • The descents around Berry can be very hazardous and these three are no exception. Beware of deceptively rough surfaces and sharp bends.

  • The climbs in Broughton Vale are short but a couple are very steep.


The Ride

This out and back is similar to Woodhill 3 Ways with a side trip into Broughton Vale for a few short sharp pinches to get the heart started.

Directions

This ride takes you from Berry up and over Woodhill Mountain and back.

From the Bike Shop

  • Proceed north on Albany St

  • 0.1km - Right onto North St

  • 0.8km - Left onto Woodhill Mountain Rd

  • 2.8km - Turn right onto Broghton Vale Rd

  • 4.9km - Left onto Tullouch Rd

  • 5.9km - Turn around at the end of the public road (there is a children crossing sign)

  • 6.8km - Right back onto Boundary Rd

  • 7.4km - Right onto Broughton Vale Rd

  • 8.3km - Right onto Hillandale Rd

  • 8.5km - Left onto Bryan Close

  • 8.8km - Turn around at the stone fence

  • 9.4km - Right onto Broughton Vale Rd

  • 10.0km - Left onto Cedar Grove Ln

  • 10.2km - Right onto Old Pioneer Crest

    • Head up to the Pioneer Cemetery and back

  • 10.6km - Right onto Cedar Grove Ln

  • 11.1km - Left onto Cargo Rise

    • Continue up the cement wall of death until you get to the end of the road

    • Return back along Cedar Grove Ln and Broughton Vale Rd to Woodhill Mountain Rd

  • 16.0km - Right onto Woodhill Mountain Rd

  • 20.8km - Keep going straight onto Brogers Creek Rd

    • Turn around after you've crossed the causeway at the bottom.

  • 25.9km - Turn right onto Wattamolla Rd

    • Turn around once you get down the hill and hit the end of the sealed road in Wattamolla.

    • Return up the Wattamolla climb.

  • 37.3km - Turn right onto Woodhill Mountain Rd

  • 44.0km - Turn right onto North St

  • 44.8km - Turn left onto Albany St.
