The descents around Berry can be very hazardous and these three are no exception. Beware of deceptively rough surfaces and sharp bends.
The Ride
This out and back with a few legs packs some punch for its short 32km. You can attack Woodhill from all directions on this ride. The drag up Woodhill; the intimate climb out of Brogers and the wall that is Wattamolla. If you want some more of the good stuff, then consider the Heart Starter which is this ride plus some short sharp warm up 'intervals'.
Directions
This ride takes you from Berry up and over Woodhill Mountain and back.
From the Bike Shop
Proceed north on Albany St
0.1km - Right onto North St
0.8km - Left onto Woodhill Mountain Rd
7.6km - Keep going straight onto Brogers Creek Rd
10.1km - Turn around once you've crossed the Brogers Creek causway
12.7km - Turn right onto Wattamolla Rd
18.4km - Turn around once you get down the hill and hit the end of the sealed road in Wattamolla.
Return up the Wattamolla climb.
24.2km - Turn right onto Woodhill Mountain Rd
30.9km - Turn right onto North St
31.7km - Turn left onto Albany St.
